Kings Infra Welcomes Andhra CM's Proposed Support Measures for Aquaculture
Kings Infra Ventures Ltd. welcomed the recent proposals made by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to support the aquaculture sector amidst the challenges caused by US tariffs on shrimp imports. The package of proposed support measures includes a 240-day moratorium on loan repayments, interest subsidies, GST waiver on frozen shrimp, reduction in shrimp feed costs, reduction in electricity charges, creation of a ₹100 crore corpus fund, and development of cold storage and logistics infrastructure. These measures are expected to provide much-needed relief to aquafarmers and exporters.
