KNR Constructions Ltd has won a dispute over the rejection of a technical bid by M/s Dilip Buildcon Limited for the Construction of Four Lane Elevated Corridor along East Coast Road (ECR) from design Chainage Km. 11+480 to Km. 11/800 (West Avenue Road) and upto Km. 24+780 (East Coast Road) Thiruvanmiyur to Uthandi in SH-49 on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) in the State of Tamil Nadu. The Hon’ble High Court of Madras dismissed the Writ Appeal (W.A No. 284 of 2026) filed by M/s Dilip Buildcon Limited, stating that the correctness and validity of the rejection needs to be examined first by the Appellate Authority under Section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998. The interim application stands closed, giving the Appellant liberty to file an appeal before the competent statutory authority within five days from 16 February 2026.
