Kothari Fermentation inks deal with Oriental Yeast India for yeast business

Kothari Fermentation & Biochem Ltd (KFBL) has entered into commercial agreements with Oriental Yeast India Private Limited (OYI) for distribution, manufacturing, and technical support concerning yeast and related products. Dated October 6, 2026, the domestic arrangement involves OYI providing technical support and distribution services, while KFBL will handle manufacturing. There is no upfront consideration. The partnership aims to enhance efficiency in product quality, distribution network, and manufacturing. Oriental Yeast India, a subsidiary of a Japanese firm, has a paid-up capital of ₹1078.05 Crores.
