Kothari Industrial Corp Signs 2 MoUs for Design & Footwear Projects
Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd has announced the proposed execution of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Government of Tamil Nadu on August 13, 2024. The first MoU is for a Design Education and Upskilling Project in Hosur, involving an investment of approximately ₹50 crore over five years and creating around 250 direct and indirect jobs. The second MoU, through its associate Phoenix Kothari Footwear Limited, is for a non-leather footwear manufacturing factory in Ramanathapuram District, with an investment of approximately ₹100 crore over seven years and an estimated 10,000 job opportunities. These MoUs aim to facilitate project implementation, subject to applicable laws and government policies.
