KPI Green Energy Secures 620MWAC Capacity in Solar and Hybrid RE Projects from GUVNL

KPI Green Energy Ltd has received Letters of Intent (LOIs) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a total capacity of 620MWAC (917MWDC) for grid-connected Solar and Hybrid RE projects. The company participated in two tenders and emerged as a successful bidder in both. In Tender-I, KPI secured 250MWac (275MWoc) under grid-connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Projects. In Tender-II, the company secured 370MWac (642MWoc) under grid-connected Hybrid RE Power Projects. The Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with GUVNL will be executed after obtaining the approval of the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC). With these capacity additions, KPI's cumulative portfolio of renewable energy will reach an impressive capacity of 2,800+ MW.
