Lambodhara Textile Loses GST Appeal, Dismissed by Joint Commissioner

Lambodhara Textile Ltd has announced the dismissal of its appeal by the Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Appeals) regarding a GST order. The company was initially directed to pay an aggregate demand of ₹7,23,902, including penalties of ₹3,61,951 under CGST and ₹3,61,951 under SGST. After paying the applicable amount, the company filed an appeal. However, the appeal was dismissed under Section 107(11) of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The company states this order has no material impact on its financials or operations.
