L&T Terminates Corridor-2, Corridor-4 Contracts of Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project: K-RIDE
Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T) has terminated the contracts for Corridor-2 and Corridor-4 packages of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project due to unavailability of encumbrance free land, site, right of way, and adequate access to work front. The termination was carried out post several rounds of discussions with K-RIDE between October 2024 and May 2025. L&T has secured an interim order from the Hon’ble Commercial Court of Bengaluru on July 30, 2025, restraining K-RIDE from invoking the Bank Guarantees. The matter is currently sub-judice. L&T is not aware of any undisclosed information to the exchanges as per the provisions of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The contract termination is an ordinary course of business and does not materially affect the operations of the Company.
