Lloyds Metals: Thriveni Earthmovers Encumbers 16% Stake

Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited has disclosed that Thriveni Earthmovers Private Limited has created an encumbrance on 90,036,636 equity shares, representing 16% of the total equity. This encumbrance, in the form of a Non-Disposal Undertaking (NDU), was entered into with SBICAP Trustee Company Limited on August 25, 2026. The NDU is related to a Rupee Term Loan Facility availed by Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited. The disclosure was made on September 5, 2026, under SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. Several other promoters and PACs also have existing encumbrances on their shares.
