Lumax Auto Technologies Ltd. has announced the inauguration of two new manufacturing plants by its subsidiary, IAC International Automotive India Private Limited, at Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra. IAC India is a leading Tier-1 plastic interior systems and components supplier in India, with a strong focus on the vehicle interior space. This strategic expansion, with an investment of approximately Rs. 640 million, is expected to increase IAC India's production capacity by approximately 50% and strengthen its ability to meet rising customer demand with agility and precision. The facilities are equipped with next-generation technologies and designed with a sustainability-first approach, featuring solar power installations and water harvesting systems.
