Mahindra & Mahindra Exits Aircraft Manufacturing Business, De-registers Mahindra Aerospace Australia Pty Ltd

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has announced its exit from the aircraft manufacturing business. This decision is part of the company's capital allocation process. The company had earlier informed about the execution of a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the sale of its entire stake in several wholly owned subsidiaries of Mahindra Aerospace Private Limited. Following the SPA, these subsidiaries ceased to be subsidiaries of MAAPL, MAPL, and the Company. Recently, the Company received an intimation from MAPL about the 'De-registration' certificate issued by the Australian Securities & Investment Commission for the voluntary liquidation of MAAPL. Consequently, MAAPL would cease to be a wholly owned subsidiary of MAPL and of the Company.
