M&M Auto Sales Up 15% in Sep 2026; Farm Equip Down 23%

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) reported robust automotive sales for September 2026, with total vehicle sales reaching 114,874 units, a 15% year-on-year growth. The Utility Vehicles segment saw a 14% increase, selling 64,092 SUVs domestically. Commercial vehicle sales grew 14% to 30,420 units. Notably, M&M's Electric Origin SUVs crossed the milestone of 1 lakh billings since launch. However, the Farm Equipment Business experienced a 23% year-on-year decline in domestic tractor sales, selling 50,208 units. This dip is attributed to the festive season shift and a higher base in September 2025 due to GST rate cuts. Exports for the Farm Equipment Business surged by 62% to 1,892 units.
