Manaksia Steels Ltd Proposes Capacity Expansion of Cold Rolled Coils in Haldia, West Bengal

Manaksia Steels Ltd has announced a proposed capacity expansion for the production of Cold Rolled Coils at its existing unit in Haldia, West Bengal. The expansion will be carried out through the introduction of a 6-Hi Reversible Cold Rolling Mill, which will increase the production capacity from 1,20,000 Tonnes per annum to 3,70,000 Tonnes per annum. The proposed capacity addition is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of the Financial year ending 2027-28, with an investment of approximately Rs. 100 crores. The company plans to finance this expansion through debts and internal accruals. The rationale behind this expansion is to meet captive demand and increase sales in both domestic and international markets.
