Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced that its Eeco model has achieved a cumulative sales milestone of 15 lakh units in India. The Eeco, launched in January 2010, has seen its sales momentum increase, with the latest 5 lakh units sold in just three-and-a-half years, marking its fastest sales milestone. To commemorate this achievement, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Eeco Star Edition, featuring 18 exclusive accessories. The Eeco portfolio includes 13 variants, with options for 5 and 6-seater passenger models, Tour V, Ambulance, and Cargo versions, powered by a 1.2L K-Series engine and available in petrol and S-CNG. The company highlighted that 65% of Eeco sales come from rural markets and 55% of customers are first-time buyers, underscoring its role as a mobility partner for families and businesses.
