Maruti Suzuki Launches India's First Flex Fuel Car

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the country's first flex-fuel car, the Wagon R, capable of running on any blend of ethanol and petrol from E20 to E100. The launch, attended by Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Hardeep Singh Puri, aligns with India's energy security and sustainability goals, aiming to reduce oil imports and boost farmer incomes. This initiative supports the government's vision for clean and self-reliant mobility, encouraging other manufacturers to adopt similar technologies. Maruti Suzuki is committed to offering diverse fuel options, including BEVs, Hybrids, CNG/CBG, and now flex-fuel vehicles, to meet national objectives.
