MDL Launches India's Fastest Solar-Electric Boat

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has launched India's fastest solar-electric boat, the SaurShakti, in collaboration with M/s NavAlt. The boat is designed for workboat purposes and features remarkable capabilities, including a top speed of 12 knots and the ability to operate for up to 7 hours on a single charge. The innovative vessel is powered by marine grade LFP (Lithium-ion Phosphate) Battery and 6 kW solar power, making it an eco-friendly mode of transportation that emits no gases and produces no noise or vibrations.,
