Medi Assist to Power PFRDA's New Health Scheme

Medi Assist Healthcare Services Ltd has been appointed as the first Health Benefit Administrator (HBA) for PFRDA's new initiative, NPS Swasthya. Launched on NPS Diwas, this scheme integrates retirement savings with health protection under the National Pension System. Medi Assist will provide the digital infrastructure for claims administration and service coordination through its MAven app, enabling seamless access to NPS and health benefits for subscribers. The initiative allows subscribers to withdraw up to 25% of their contributions for eligible healthcare expenses, with direct payments to providers. This collaboration aims to simplify the subscriber experience and foster collaboration across the pension and healthcare ecosystems.
