
Sigma Advanced Systems Secures ₹155 Cr Anti-Drone Orders
Sigma Advanced Systems Ltd, in partnership with Indrajaal Autonomous Defense Systems, has secured approximately ₹155 crore in orders for its Indrajaal Ranger anti-drone patrol vehicle from the Government of India. The orders include ₹145 crore for border security and approximately ₹10 crore for urban policing and VVIP protection. This marks India as the first country to establish government-scale anti-drone patrolling for both border and urban areas, introducing a new category of homeland security vehicles. The Indrajaal Ranger is designed to detect, track, identify, and counter rogue drones while mobile, integrating advanced sensors, AI, and countermeasures.
