Metropolis Healthcare Acquires Dr. Ahujas’ Pathology & Imaging Centre for INR 35.01 Crores
Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Metropolis Histoxpert Digital Services Private Limited, has entered into a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Dr. Ahujas’ Pathology & Imaging Centre (DAPIC), Dr. Alok Ahuja and Dr. Alka Ahuja for the acquisition of their entire business as a going concern on a slump sale basis. The acquisition, which does not fall under related party transactions, is expected to strengthen Metropolis Healthcare's presence in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and build a robust and regionally diverse diagnostic network across North India. The total consideration for the acquisition is INR 35.01 crores, with an escrow arrangement of up to INR 3 crores. DAPIC, founded in 1990, is a leading provider of diagnostic services in Uttarakhand, with a consolidated turnover of INR 12.4 crores in FY 2023-24.
