Midwest Energy Opens 1.2 GWh Battery Storage Facility

Midwest Energy has commenced commercial production at its new 1.2 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The facility features integrated Cell-to-Container manufacturing, enabling production of battery modules, trays, racks, and containerized systems for various applications including commercial, industrial, renewable energy, and utility-scale projects. This expansion aims to strengthen India's advanced energy storage manufacturing capabilities and support the country's clean energy transition by providing reliable and resilient energy storage solutions. The company plans to supply these systems to both domestic and international markets.
