MMTC Ltd: 458 Physical Share Transfer Requests Re-lodged

MMTC Limited has reported the receipt of 458 requests for re-lodgment of transfer of physical shares. These requests were processed under a special window provided by SEBI Circular No. HO/38/13/11(2) 2026-MIRSD-POD/I/3750/2026, dated January 30, 2026. The company's Registrar and Transfer Agent, MCS Share Transfer Agent Limited, confirmed that all 458 received requests were also processed during June 2026. However, all 458 requests were rejected due to discrepancies such as signature differences and missing documentation, including ISR 2, PAN, Aadhar, and purchase proof. The average processing time for these requests was 10 days.
