Morepen Labs Wins GST Refund Case Against Tax Authorities

Morepen Laboratories Ltd has received a favorable judgment from the Hon'ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh at Shimla, quashing a Show Cause Notice (SCN) issued by the Central GST & Central Excise Commissionerate, Shimla. The SCN had sought recovery of ₹117,94,03,452/- towards alleged excess GST refund, along with interest and penalty. The High Court's order, received on October 14, 2026, disposed of the writ petition in favor of the company, with no impact on its financials, operations, or other activities.
