Moschip Secures Rs 509.37 Crore Contract for 5nm HPC SoC Development

Moschip Technologies Ltd has secured a Rs 509.37 crore contract from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) for the design, development, and delivery of a high-performance computing (HPC) System on a Chip (SoC) using state-of-the-art 5nm technology. This project, which has a contract value of Rs 509.37 crore (Rs 568 crore including Re-spin) and a duration of 3 years (4 years including support and maintenance), is expected to open significant domestic and international market opportunities and strengthen MosChip’s position in the global market. The high-performance computing SoC is not just restricted to the HPC market, as the Company would expect the variants of it to be used in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and generic cloud computing spaces as well.
