MRF Ltd to Acquire 26% Stake in Serentica Renewables India 26 Private Limited for Rs.99 Crores

MRF Ltd, a leading company in the tyre industry, has announced its decision to acquire a 26% stake in Serentica Renewables India 26 Private Limited, a company engaged in the business of Renewables Energy. The acquisition is aimed at enhancing MRF's source of renewable power supply under the group captive generation mechanism. The cost of acquisition is Rs.99 Crores, and the transaction is expected to be completed by July, 2026. Serentica Renewables India 26 Private Limited, incorporated in May, 2025, has not started any commercial operations yet, and hence, its turnover is Nil.
