
Mukka Proteins JV Wins £474.89 Crore Contract for Scientific Treatment of Legacy Leachate
Mukka Proteins Limited, a leading manufacturer and exporter of fish meal, fish oil, and fish-soluble paste, announced that its joint venture with Hardik Gowda and MS Jathin Infra Private Limited has been awarded a £474.89 crore (exclusive of GST) contract by Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML). The contract covers the comprehensive treatment and safe disposal of legacy leachate accumulated at the Mittaganahalli and Kannur landfill sites in Bengaluru. This project represents a significant step toward restoring ecological balance, preventing contamination, and mitigating long-standing environmental challenges in these landfill regions.
