NALCO Denies Negotiations for 200-300 MW Green Power Capacity

National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has denied negotiations for setting up 200-300 MW green power capacity backed by battery storage for low-carbon aluminium. The company is, however, in the process of appointing a Consultant for Renewable Energy (RE) transition. NALCO is not aware of any information that has not been announced to the Exchanges which could explain the movement in the trading. The company stated that there is no material impact of the aforesaid news on the Company. NALCO also clarified that no official press release/communication was made to media houses in this connection.
