National Fertilizers Ltd Invests in New Ammonia-Urea Complex Namrup IV Fertilizer Plant

National Fertilizers Ltd (NFL) has signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with Government of Assam (GoA), Oil India Limited (OIL), Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) to set up a new Ammonia-Urea Complex Namrup IV Fertilizer Plant at Namrup, Assam. The Joint Venture Company (JVC), named ‘Assam Valley Fertilizer And Chemical Company Limited’ (AVFCCL), has been incorporated on 25.07.2025 with a paid-up capital of Rs. 180,000. The project is expected to have a mechanical completion and commissioning time of 48 months from zero date.
