NGL Fine Chem Commences Phase II Production at Tarapur Facility

NGL Fine Chem Ltd has announced the commencement of commercial production for Phase II of its Greenfield facility located in Tarapur, Maharashtra, effective September 24, 2026. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to augment its manufacturing infrastructure and meet the demands of its diverse active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) product portfolio. Phase I of the facility had previously commenced production on March 11, 2025. The company notes that aggregate installed capacity cannot be expressed as a single uniform quantity due to varying product mixes and API manufacturing processes, emphasizing flexible utilization. The total investment in the Greenfield expansion facility up to the commencement date is approximately ₹222 crore, financed through a combination of term loans from banks (₹84 crore) and internal accruals (₹138 crore). The facility is now fully commissioned and operational.
