NIBE Ltd Enters into Licensing Agreement with ARDE, DRDO, and MoD for Transfer of Technology to Manufacture Pinaka Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher and Pinaka Battery Command Post
NIBE Ltd has entered into a Licensing Agreement with Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE), Pune, Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), India, Ministry of Defence, Government of India for Transfer of Technology to manufacture Pinaka Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher and Pinaka Battery Command Post. The agreement is domestic in nature and the company will utilize the technology to manufacture the products for the purpose of supplying to Indian Armed forces/other Government Agencies. The Pinaka Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher is an all-weather, indirect area fire artillery weapon and Pinaka Battery Command Post is a sheltered command post which can carries out tasks of collecting information, computation, command and control.
