NIBE Secures Major Order from Elbit Systems for 70mm Guided Advanced Tactical Rocket

NIBE Limited, an Indian defense manufacturer, has secured a significant order from Elbit Systems, a globally renowned defense technology firm, to manufacture and supply parts of 70mm class air-to-surface rockets, known as the Guided Advanced Tactical Rocket (GATR). This advanced rocket combines precision strike capabilities, semi-active, laser guidance systems, and can deliver 16 Kg of warhead with penetration of up to 200mm in reinforced concrete. The deal emphasizes NIBE Limited's rising prominence as a reliable international defense partner and India's expanding contribution to high-end defense production. The collaboration will boost mission success rates and operational safety, while accelerating India’s journey toward technological self- reliance.
