Nila Infrastructures' GST Appeal Allowed, Avoids Payment of INR 1 Crore

Nila Infrastructures Ltd. has received an order from the Office of the Commissioner (Appeals) CGST - Jodhpur, allowing their appeal and setting aside the impugned order of the CGST Department. The earlier order had disallowed ITC of INR 50,50,133 and imposed an equal penalty under section 140(3) and 142(11)(c) of the CGST Act 2017. The latest order saves the company from making the payment of approximately INR 1 crore, including the disallowed amount, penalty, and interest.
