
NLC India Ltd Signs MoU with Gujarat Government for Development of Large-Scale Renewable Energy Projects
NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat for the development of large-scale Renewable Energy (RE) projects. The MoU, signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Saurashtra and Kutch Region, envisages the development of projects with an aggregate investment potential of approximately INR 25,000 crore. The projects, to be developed through NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), include Solar, Wind, Hybrid and Battery Energy Storage Projects. This strategic collaboration aligns with NLC India Limited's Corporate Plan to achieve 10 GW of Renewable Energy capacity by the year 2030. The Government of Gujarat will facilitate NLCIL/NIRL in obtaining necessary approvals, clearances, and other support for the timely implementation of the proposed projects.
