NMDC Steel Appoints Vivek Nishant Nath as Director (Commercial)

NMDC Steel Ltd announced the appointment of Shri Vivek Nishant Nath as Director (Commercial) on its Board. This appointment, effective July 15, 2026, is for a period of five years or until further orders. Shri Nath brings over three decades of experience in the mining and metals industry, with a strong background in sales, marketing, and commercial operations. He has previously held significant roles at NMDC, Essar Steel, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, and Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC), where he was instrumental in driving sales growth and revenue. His expertise spans domestic and international commercial operations, procurement, logistics, and supply chain management. Shri Nath is an alumnus of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and holds an MBA in International Business from Symbiosis. He is not related to any other Directors on the Board and is not debarred from holding such office.
