Northern Arc Capital Ltd has been penalized ₹6.20 Lakhs by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) via a speaking order dated August 14, 2026. The penalty stems from two primary non-compliances: failure to accurately disclose customer complaints in financial statements (reporting 938 instead of 23,956) and not ensuring auto-escalation of rejected complaints to the Internal Ombudsman. The penalty is in respect of the company's financial position as of March 31, 2025. Northern Arc Capital has stated that corrective actions have been undertaken to address these issues.
