NR Agarwal Industries Ltd has announced that it has received approvals from Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) for essential utilities for its new Multilayer Board Plant (Unit VI) at Dahej, Gujarat. The approvals include effluent disposal of 2,000 KLPD (2.0 MLD) through the GIDC pipeline and water assurance aggregating 4,000 KLPD (4.0 MLD) comprising 2,600 KLPD Narmada Water and 1,400 KLPD Desalination Water. The Company is required to pay approximately 34.92 crore as advance towards capital contribution and related charges as per prevailing GIDC policy. These approvals are a significant step towards the infrastructure readiness of Unit VI, ensuring availability of necessary utilities for the project. The Company has confirmed that there is no adverse impact on its existing operations.
