NTPC Green Energy Acquires Ayana Renewable Power for INR 6,248.50 Crore

NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the completion of acquisition of 100% equity stake in Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited by ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, a 50:50 Joint Venture Company of NTPC Green Energy Limited and ONGC Green Limited. Ayana, a leading renewable energy platform, has a capacity of approximately 4112 MW with operational and under-construction assets strategically located across resource-rich states. Its portfolio is backed by high-credit-rated off-takers such as SECI, NTPC, GUVNL, and Indian Railways. The acquisition was completed on 27th March 2025 with a total cost of INR 6,248.50 Crore, with NTPC Green Energy Limited's share being INR 3,124.25 Crore. Ayana will be a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGPL.
