NTPC Green Energy Declares 37.95 MW Capacity of Khavda Solar Energy Project Commercial Operation

NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared the fourth part capacity of 37.95 MW out of 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project at Khavda, Bhuj, Gujarat of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited as commercial operational with effect from 00:00 Hrs of 19.10.2025. This declaration follows the successful commissioning of the project. The first, second, and third part capacities of 142.2 MW, 32.8 MW, and 49.125 MW respectively, were already declared commercial operational on 28.06.2025, 30.06.2025, and 22.08.2025. The total capacity declared on commercial operation is now 262.075 MW, increasing the current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group to 7515.725 MW. With the addition of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NGEL Group will increase to 7553.675 MW.
