NTPC Green Energy Limited Signs MoU with Assago Industries for Green Urea Plant Supplies

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Assago Industries Private Limited on 2nd Feb’2026 at NTPC Bhawan, New Delhi. The MoU is for the supply of Green Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide, Renewable Energy Power and other related utilities for the production of 1000 TPD of Green Urea. The Urea plant is being explored to be setup in the NGEL Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka (near Visakhapatnam), AP. The MoU was signed in the presence of senior officials from NGEL, NTPC and Assago.
