NTPC Green Energy Limited Signs MoU with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited for Battery Energy Storage Projects and Renewable Energy Projects

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for development of Battery Energy Storage Projects and Renewable Energy Projects. The MoU was signed on 26th July 2025 between Sh. Sarit Maheswari, CEO (NGEL & NREL) and Sh. Abdesh Kumar Singh, Director Technical (BSPGCL), in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Energy, Planning & Development of Govt. of Bihar Sh. Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Industries of Govt. of Bihar Sh. Nitish Mishra, ACS, Department of Industries, Secretary Department of Energy and other senior officials from Government of Bihar. This initiative is aimed at decarbonization and energy transition in the state of Bihar.
