NTPC Green Energy Ltd Subsidiary, Chhattisgarh NTPC Green Energy Limited, Incorporated as 74:26 Joint Venture

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has incorporated a new company, Chhattisgarh NTPC Green Energy Limited, on 5th December 2025. This new entity is a 74:26 joint venture between NGEL and Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL). Chhattisgarh NTPC Green Energy Limited is incorporated in India and operates in the Renewable Energy sector. The company's objective is to develop, operate, and maintain Renewable Energy Parks, including UMREPP and Projects in the State of Chhattisgarh or any other identified locations, comprising of Solar/Wind/Hybrid upto 2 GW capacities and identification of reservoirs for Development of Floating Solar Projects. NGEL has subscribed 74,000 equity shares at the face value of INR 10 each, holding 74% shareholding in Chhattisgarh NTPC Green Energy Limited, making it a subsidiary of NGEL. The incorporation required concurrence of DIPAM, vide letter dated 234 April 2025.
