
Nutricircle Limited Enters MOU with ICRISAT for High-Protein, Climate-Resilient Chickpea Cultivars Development
Nutricircle Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) on 27th June, 2025. The purpose of this agreement is to develop high-protein, climate-resilient chickpea cultivars that consistently deliver superior chickpea-protein-concentrate (CPC) yield and quality for industrial food applications. The proposed investment for this project is up to Rs 1,30,45,514/- exclusive of applicable taxes and GST. The agreement terms include joint ownership of resulting IP, seamless use by each party, and mutual agreement for dealing with the resulting IP. The results will be jointly published, and proper acknowledgment will be made for the contributions of each party. The exchange of genetic and biological materials will be carried out through the execution of the appropriate Material Transfer Agreement (MTA).
