ONGC Takes Over Operations of Well Mori-5 in Mori Field Following Incident

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has taken over operational control of Well Mori-5, located at Irusumanda Village, Malkipuram Mandal, following an incident at the site. A comprehensive blowout control plan has been finalized, and a gradual reduction in flame intensity and size is being observed. The team has also managed to change the flame to a vertical direction. Air quality, noise levels, and nearby water bodies are being continuously monitored to minimize environmental impact. ONGC is in continuous coordination with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and an effective response.
