Ola Electric Denies Rumors of Tech Leak, Stands Firm on Indigenous Battery Innovation

Ola Electric Mobility Limited has issued a clarification regarding rumors of a technology leak from LG Energy Solution. The company has stated that the rumors are misleading and baseless, and that their 4680 Bharat Cell is based on more advanced dry electrode technology in a cylindrical form factor, not the pouch cell technology as alleged in the media. Ola Electric has invested heavily in R&D and manufacturing infrastructure, with a cumulative investment of ₹2500 crore in their Gigafactory. The company has over 720 patent filings, of which 124 are granted.
