Ola Electric Launches S1Z Scooter at ₹79,999 with 301 km Range

Ola Electric Mobility Limited announced the launch of its new electric scooter, the S1Z, through a social media communication by its Promoter and CMD. The S1Z features a 46160 LFP Bharat Cell, offers a 301 km IDC range, and is priced at an introductory ₹79,999. Deliveries are scheduled for December. The company emphasized that unlike industry norms for affordable scooters, the S1Z offers enhanced range and technology, attributing this to in-house development of critical components including the cell, motor, vehicle, and software. This move aims to provide a 'tech advantage' to Indian customers.
