Ola Electric Rolls Out First 'Redd' from Its Gigafactory, Marking a Major Milestone

Ola Electric Mobility Limited has announced the roll out of its first 'Redd' from its state-of-the-art Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. This marks a significant milestone towards scaling up the 4680 Bharat Cell platform and represents the company's entry into the residential BESS market. The 'Redd', powered by Ola’s indigenous 4680 Bharat Cells, is India’s first residential BESS which is fully designed, engineered, and manufactured domestically. It is available in four configurations and can power various appliances with charging times as fast as 2 hours and backup capacity of up to 1.5 hours on full load.
