Ola Electric's S1 X 2 kWh Gets PLI Certification

Ola Electric Mobility Limited has announced that its most affordable scooter, the S1 X 2kWh, has received the Certification for Compliance with the eligibility assessment requirements as per the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme. This marks the fifth product in the company's portfolio to receive the PLI Certification, affirming its vertically integrated manufacturing strength and significant achievement in advancing India's EV vision. The certification was granted by The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) after testing of the product and checks on the localisation of the components. Ola Electric is eligible for incentives for up to five consecutive financial years, commencing from Fiscal 2024, with the incentive ranging between 13% and 18% of the 'determined sales value' of the products.
