OnEMI amends MoA to expand tech-enabled financial services scope
OnEMI Technology Solutions Ltd announced that its members approved amendments to the Memorandum of Association (MoA) at the 10th Annual General Meeting held on September 22, 2026. The alterations to the main object clause aim to align the company's objectives with its evolving business in technology-enabled financial services. The amendments include enabling the company to design, develop, and host software and technology platforms for distributing financial products, providing consumer information, and operating a marketplace. Additionally, the company can now process information for credit institutions and provide outsourcing and allied support services, including technology and digital support, customer servicing, and back-office functions related to financial products. These changes provide clarity and flexibility for OnEMI to undertake activities within the financial services ecosystem, subject to applicable laws and regulatory approvals. The company clarified that these alterations do not attract provisions of Section 13(8) of the Companies Act, 2013, as they are unrelated to objects for which public funds were raised via an IPO.
