Orient Press to Sell Tarapur Factory for ₹24 Cr+

Orient Press Ltd's Board of Directors has approved the proposal to sell, transfer, lease, or otherwise dispose of its factory located at Plot No. G-73, MIDC, Tarapur, Maharashtra. This decision follows the company's earlier intimation regarding the relocation of operations from Tarapur to Greater Noida. The sale is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 38th Annual General Meeting. The net worth of the Tarapur unit as of March 31, 2026, was ₹1917.61 Lakhs (29.72% of the company's net worth), and its turnover for FY 2025-26 was ₹673.39 Lakhs (5.26% of consolidated turnover). The proceeds, expected to be at least ₹24 Crores, will be used for working capital, future expansion, and bank debt repayment. The buyer will not be a promoter or group company, and the transaction is not a related party transaction.
