Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) has launched 'JAI KISAAN NAVRATNA CROPFIT', a customized fertilizer specifically for sugarcane cultivation in Karnataka. This scientifically formulated product offers a balanced mix of primary (NPK 14:14:13), secondary (Sulphur 4%), and micronutrients (Zinc 1%, Boron 0.1%, Iron 1%). The launch aims to improve nutrient use efficiency, crop productivity, and farm economics by addressing the specific nutritional needs of sugarcane. Field evaluations suggest potential for higher cane yields and improved sugar recovery. The product is FCO-approved and recommended for key sugarcane-growing districts in Karnataka.
