PNC Infratech Loses Major Contract for Integrated Infrastructure Development Project in Maharashtra After Legal Dispute
PNC Infratech Limited, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, has lost a major contract for an integrated infrastructure development project in Maharashtra. The contract, worth INR 2039.61 crore, was awarded to PNC Infratech Limited - Aakshya Infra Projects Private Limited JV by City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. (CIDCO) in October 2024. However, a writ petition filed in the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay by one of the rejected bidders led to the quashing and setting aside of the work order by the High Court in May 2025. PNC Infratech Limited has filed a Special Leave Petition before the hon’ble Supreme Court of India seeking to stay the effect and operation of the impugned order. The financial and material impacts of this decision will be evaluated and intimated accordingly upon the outcome of the SLP.
