Poona Dal & Oil Industries Ltd. has approved the establishment of a Cashew Processing Unit as part of its strategic business expansion. The new unit, located in Kurkumbh, Pune, will engage in processing, grading, packaging, and allied activities. This expansion aims to diversify the company's product portfolio, strengthen its presence in the agro-processing segment, enhance value addition, and cater to growing domestic and export demand. The estimated investment for the project is approximately Rs. Five crore, which will be funded through internal accruals. The expansion is expected to contribute positively to the company’s revenue, operational efficiency, and long-term growth prospects.
